Road to Avonlea Season Seven Cast
1) Out of the Ashes **** (run time 44 minutes)
The new banker, Stuart McRae, who boards his horse at King Farm, begins to fall in love with Felicity. During a town meeting Old Lady Lloyd's mansion is brought and the Avonlea people decide to turn it into a foundling home. Felicity is put in charge and Stuart helps her out. Felicity begins to have feelings for Stuart, and Stuart helps Felicity overcome the death of Gus.
2) Love May Be Blind.... But Neighbors Ain't **** (run time 44 minutes)
Olivia is worried that Jasper is upset with her and doesn't love her because she hasn't had any more children. When Felix is asked by his friends how his boating trip with Izzy went, Felix becomes cocky and won't answer their questions. Rumors begin to travel about town and find their way to Izzy's ears, and Felicity tries to decide if she should accept Stuart's proposal.
3) Davey and the Mermaid **** (run time 44 minutes)
Rachel tells Davy and Dora about mermaids and Davy is determined to see one. During the Avonlea fair a mermaid is with a traveling show and Davy is taken with her. Because of her stroke, Rachel has a new view of life and begins enjoying life in a different way than she had previously lived. When Davy learns that the traveling show is swindling people, he is kidnapped.
4) Woman of Importance **** (run time 44 minutes)
Izzy feels left out and ignored by her parents and asks her aunt Lillian to visit. Clive doesn't like Lillian and doesn't let Lillian visit the house. Izzy still isn't speaking to Felix and Felix is determined to show Izzy that he is sorry for what he did. Izzy feels that she doesn't belong in Avonlea and begs her aunt to take her to Boston.
5) Secrets and Sacrifice **** (run time 44 minutes)
Abigail and her family return to Avonlea, and Abigail and Janet are determined to get along. When Abigail begins criticizing Janet because she is forever loosing her ring, Janet becomes upset. After Cecily tells Alec what she overheard Abigail telling Janet, Alec decides to buy Janet the engagement ring that she never received. When Janet's ring is missing, Abigail and Janet sneak into the Knights Lodge- where no woman has ever tread- and search for the ring.
6) Ah... Sweet Mystery of Life *** (run time 44 minutes)
A hotel remodeler visits the White Sands and tells Mr. Tremayne the changes that he should make. Simon is flabbergasted with the ideas and refuses to give the man permission to remodel the hotel. Meanwhile, the Avonlea school is threatened to be closed and in order to keep the school, the Avonlea schoolchildren have to get better grades than the schoolchildren of Carmody.
7) King of the Great White Way ***** (run time 44 minutes)
A famous song-writing couple stays at the White Sands and Hetty refuses their requests. When Hetty learns that the Blaines have played for the King of England she lets them do what they wanted to do. Felix tries to get the Blaines interested in Jasper's recording machine, but he and Selena Dale have troubles getting it to work correctly. When Mr. Blaine hears Alec sing, he tells Alec that he has a wonderful talent and should move to New York.
8) Total Eclipse ** (run time 44 minutes)
A solar eclipse is predicted and tourists flock to the White Sands. After Cecily accidentally burns a large amount of money, Felix devises a plan for them to remake the money. Felix overbooks the hotel and offers the people who aren't able to stay at the hotel a room to rent at King Farm. Trouble in the form of Janet King happens when she returns from Charlottetown early.
9) From Away * (run time 44 minutes)
Two runaway orphans arrive in Avonlea and stay in the foundling home. Davy tries to befriend them, but the boys get Davy into trouble. When Davy learns why the boys have run away, he “borrows” money from Hetty and helps the boys.
10) After the Ball is Over ** (run time 44 minutes)
Eliza's 90th birthday is approaching and Abigail gets Janet to plan a birthday party. Cousin Winnifred comes for the party and stays at King Farm. Winnifred's mind is going and she has “visions” of Eliza's beau.
11) Return to Me ****** (run time 44 minutes)
A phone call leads Felicity to believe that Gus is alive and she and Hetty travel to South Carolina to find him. Felicity has trouble finding Gus, and begins wondering why one of the nurses at a hospital is acting queer. While searching for Gus, Felicity walks by a church and recognizes the girl from the hospital. Felicity questions her and learns that the girl knows where Gus is.
12) The Last Hurrah ***** (run time 44 minutes)
Olivia's heart goes out to a young lady and offers her a job at the cannery. Lottie is in no condition for the hard cannery work and Olivia lets Lottie watch Monty. Jasper returns to Avonlea in time to stop Avonlea from merging with Carmody. Eulalie Bugle becomes angry, and tells Jasper that “the shoe will soon be on the other foot.” During the night, the cannery catches on fire from a lightning bolt.
13) So Dear to My Heart ****** (run time 44 minutes)
When Felicity returns to Avonlea with Gus, she has to decide how she will tell Gus and Stuart about each other. Jasper and Olivia are unable to rebuild the cannery and talk about moving to England. Felicity tells Stuart that there is no way she can marry him and Stuart leaves town. Hetty is furious with Jasper and Olivia's decision and refuses to come to Felicity and Gus's wedding.
Happy Christmas Miss King (1 ½ hour tv special) (aka An Avonlea Christmas) *****
Felix has been fighting in World War I and is listed as missing. Janet no longer feels in the Christmas spirit and begins dragging her feet. Alec and Hetty try to help Janet, but they only make matters worse. When Felicity's last two foundlings uncle and aunt come, the foundling home closes and Felicity has to decide what her next step will be. Olivia, Monty, and Alicia have come from England, but without Jasper. When Hetty begans making fun of Jasper's ways, Olivia becomes upset and stays at King Farm. Hetty fears that her job as school teacher is on the line and tries to get a famous dramatist to give a recitation at her Christmas program. While hunting him down, Hetty collides with another person and needs surgery.
